Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP partners Brian Panish and Rahul Ravipudi have been named among Daily Journal’s list of 2025 Top Plaintiff Lawyers in California. The annual publication recognized 52 lawyers this year, honoring California’s leading advocates fighting for consumers in personal injury, mass torts, and civil rights cases.
BRIAN PANISH
Mr. Panish’s feature profile highlights two landmark results secured by Mr. Panish in 2025 — a $37,025,000 settlement obtained for an injured motorcyclist, pursuant to a high/low agreement with defendants, that was finalized just minutes before a jury delivered a $27,727,630 verdict in the matter; and a $34.1 million jury verdict obtained for an elderly pedestrian who suffered severe injuries after being struck while on the sidewalk by a vehicle whose driver ran a red light.
Upcoming for Mr. Panish in 2026 is a wrongful death trial on behalf of the parents and sibling of two young boys who were struck and killed in a crosswalk by a hit-and-run drunk driver, Rebecca Grossman, in 2020. Grossman was convicted of second degree murder and sentenced to 15 years to life in 2024. The wrongful death suit is seeking punitive damages.
RAHUL RAVIPUDI
Mr. Ravipudi’s feature profile highlights two significant cases with tremendous results. The first, a judgment exceeding $56 million for Plaintiff Jack Greener, a beginning Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu student who was awarded $46,475,112 verdict by a San Diego jury after suffering a catastrophic spinal cord injury while sparring with an instructor who performed a technique on Mr. Greener which rendered him an incomplete quadriplegic. The second, a $15,045,000 settlement for an 11-year-old McAuliffe Middle School student who suffered severe orthopedic injuries to both lower extremities, significant emotional and psychological trauma, and permanent disability after she became pinned between two vehicles in the school parking lot during after-school pickup.
In 2025, Mr. Ravipudi was elected the vice president of the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates where he will step into the role of president in 2028.
