Toronto Mayor Criticized for Reading While Driving

Posted on August 15, 2012

The mayor of Toronto is catching flak from local constituents because of a recent Twitter photo which purports to show him reading a paper while driving an Escalade at around 70 kilometers per hour along the local Gardiner Expressway.  When questioned, the mayor said that he’s usually busy and said there was a good possibility that indeed he was the one photographed.  He has allegedly been involved in other incidents along the highway, such as talking on a phone and then giving the finger to someone who disapproved of the habit.
