Tristan Malhotra

Tristan Malhotra is an attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP, where he focuses his practice on catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout California.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Malhotra was an attorney at the international law firm Covington & Burling LLP. There, he handled a broad range of matters across multiple practice areas, including commercial litigation, investigations, and public policy.

Mr. Malhotra earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he received the Gerald Gunther Prize for Outstanding Performance in Legal Research and Writing. He served as a teaching assistant for the Criminal Prosecution Clinic, working as a Bar Certified Law Clerk with the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and mentoring fellow clinicians assigned to the office. He also served as a teaching assistant for the Trial Advocacy Workshop, Technical Managing Editor of the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, and a pro bono volunteer with the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department Prisoner Legal Services.

Before law school, Mr. Malhotra graduated magna cum laude from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science. He served as Captain of the Duke University Mock Trial team and was honored as an All-American Attorney by the American Mock Trial Association. He also worked as a research assistant to Duke Law Professor Neil Siegel.

Mr. Malhotra is a member of the State Bar of California and is active in the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and the Consumer Attorneys of California. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
