Alec Clark

Alec Clark is a trial attorney at Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP, focusing his practice on catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, and dangerous condition cases throughout California, Nevada, and Washington. With experience in complex jury trials and private arbitrations, Mr. Clark has been named to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® list for 2026 and has been selected as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star for 2025 and 2026.
Mr. Clark and his trial team have resolved dozens of cases for more than seven figures, including numerous eight-figure results. In Benardout v. Gralitzer, he and Firm partner Spencer Lucas obtained a $200 million judgment for the family of a 24-year-old man killed by a drunk driver in West Hollywood.
In Martinez v. Harman Fitness LLC, Mr. Clark reached a $5 million settlement after seven days of trial on behalf of a mother whose son passed away at a commercial fitness facility. As a key component of the settlement, Mr. Clark negotiated terms requiring all staff members across the defendant’s dozens of facilities to be fully CPR and AED certified, ensuring a lasting impact on public safety.
Other notable results include:
- $29 million settlement for a family struck head-on in their vehicle.
- $26 million settlement for a man paralyzed in a bicycle crash.
- $25 million settlement for the family of a motorcyclist killed in a crash.
- $22 million settlement for a motorcyclist who suffered an amputation and traumatic brain injury.
- $20 million settlement for a motorcyclist struck by a wheel that detached from a moving semi-truck.
Mr. Clark earned his law degree from the University of San Diego, where he was awarded the School of Law Honor Scholarship and served as a member of the National Trial Team. While in law school, he also worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of California. He holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and remains a loyal fan of the Buffs.
Licensed in California, Nevada, and Washington, Mr. Clark serves on the Board of the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) New Lawyers Division, and is an active member of both the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA) and the American Association for Justice. Outside of the office, he enjoys playing tennis and basketball, traveling, and spending time with his family.
